Making a bride (and myself) happy – the biggest challenge yet

It’s been a while, and to be honest, I don’t know why I haven’t shared this until now. But here, finally, are some impressions from the wedding cake I made this summer. It was really really stressful and challenging, but it was one of the coolest experiences of my life until now. Not that I didn’t have enough challenge already writing my thesis… Well, you do need some distraction from time to time.

Ombre Mint Choc Meringue Cake

It has been a little more than one week since I had my last day at work. Now I’m officially just a student again. This is pretty weird, as I’ve worked at XING for almost one year. My last day has been a real tearjerker for me; so many of my nice colleagues came and said goodbye (and ate ALL the cupcakes and cake pops I brought – that has never happened to me before. My slightly extravagant Birthday Cake

This year I decided to make myself a birthday cake. A decent birthday cake. A slightly exaggerated birthday cake perhaps. It turned out to be „the most beautiful cake“ my friend had ever seen (she’s so cute!), more like a wedding cake than a birthday cake, and even I was a little impressed with what I had done. Snickers Cupcakes

Let’s make it short: I know I didn’t post anything for the last three months.
